About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the strategy and execution of AI Shared Services platform areas, including Eventing, Communications and Search
Turn fragmented tools and experiments into coherent, reusable capabilities
Set the strategy for the AI Shared Services domain and develop the roadmap for upcoming quarters
Establish key metrics and dashboards to track progress and success
Build relationships with stakeholders across the business
Grow adoption of shared AI capabilities across multiple product and engineering teams
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Data and Operations
Partner with product areas across Xero
Grow people and teams and connect their work to the broader business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong product leadership across platform products, infrastructure, developer experience or enterprise services
Experience managing a portfolio of interdependent products
Technical fluency across distributed systems, eventing, communication and data platforms, and cloud environments
Strong commercial judgement
Ability to lead through ambiguity, competing priorities and dependency complexity
Track record of growing people and teams
Ability to establish tangible goals and work with teams across the business
