About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own new and existing Mobile products, driving customer and commercial value
  • Lead products end-to-end from research and ideation through implementation and ongoing iteration
  • Define and execute the Mobile product strategy and roadmaps aligned with Xero's overall objectives
  • Conduct customer engagement and research to identify, frame, and validate high-value problem areas
  • Establish team delivery cadences and define success metrics
  • Participate in quarterly OKR planning
  • Guide products through their full lifecycle
  • Manage risk and compliance and drive iterative performance improvements
  • Collaborate with mobile product, product, engineering, and design teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience shipping AI or automation capabilities that measurably reduced manual effort for users
  • Background in mobile product management, ideally within fintech, accounting, or financial domains
  • Experience managing complex products end-to-end
  • Track record of translating customer research into actionable product strategies
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to build alignment across diverse teams
  • Comfort navigating complex technical domains
  • Curiosity for turning intricate systems into simple experiences
  • Ability to coach and mentor colleagues in user research methodologies, product prioritisation, and experimental problem-solving
  • Decisive approach to product management, prioritizing shippable value over perfection in fast-moving environments
  • Experience setting key product metrics and tracking customer performance
  • Experience establishing clear team OKRs
