Key responsibilities & impact

Play a pivotal role in making small businesses more beautiful by delivering high-quality science, analytics, and insights.
Immerse yourself in vast data stores to build a shared understanding of customer behaviours.
Shape product and marketing strategies that have a global impact.
Influence how Xero manages digital performance acquisition, customer engagement, and retention.
Extract insights from complex data sources and conduct rigorous experiments.
Empower internal teams to understand current trends and motivate customer behaviour.
Execute a high pace of A/B testing and experimentation analysis.
Analyse complex datasets from the Xero data platform, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel.
Develop and productionise proofs of concept and data assets for high-level reporting and dashboards.
Partner with the Customer Engagement team to proactively manage digital performance, retention, and personalisation efforts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Wealth of experience in data and analytics within the digital or tech industry, specifically handling large-scale datasets.
Hands on SQL skills for data manipulation.
Solid foundation in Python for analysis.
Deep understanding of experimentation design, particularly the A/B testing framework.
Talent for storytelling, with ability to present complex statistical findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualisations and slide decks.
Demonstrated open mind and flexibility to tackle unfamiliar domains while working with diverse data sources.
