About the role
- building and maintaining production-grade backend software with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability
- developing backend features and services using Java and Spring Boot
- collaborating closely with other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and shared ownership
- contributing to software design using established engineering principles and component-based architecture
- working in an agile environment and actively participating in team ceremonies
- supporting continuous improvement of backend development practices, tooling, and automation
Requirements
- strong experience in backend development using Java (7+) and Spring Boot
- experience building and maintaining REST API and working with WebSockets
- understanding of software design principles and backend architectural patterns
- experience with unit and integration testing, including BDD or TDD practices
- familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
- exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or similar environments)
- awareness of DevOps principles and automation practices
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve backend expertise
- very good English (B2+)
