Play a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to the training of new tasks, working closely with the technical staff to ensure successful development and implementation of cutting-edge initiatives/technologies.
Interact with the technical staff to help improve the design of efficient annotation tools.
Regularly interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on given instructions.
Enhance AI capabilities by providing high-quality input and labels using specialized software, selecting complex problems to improve model performance, and refining annotation tools.
Collaborate closely with technical teams and contribute directly to the company’s mission.
Requirements
Must possess a Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, or a highly-related field.
Proficiency in reading and writing, both in informal and professional English.
Strong ability to navigate various information resources, databases, and online resources are essential.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
Solid reading comprehension skills combined with capacity to exercise autonomous judgment even when presented with limited data/material.
Strong passion for and commitment to technological advancements and innovation.
Preferred: Possess a PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Preferred: Substantial professional experience working on real-world problems in this domain.
Preferred: Experience with at least one publication in a reputable journal or outlet.
Preferred: Previous AI Tutoring experience.
Preferred: Teaching experience (as a professor, teacher, or tutor).
Preferred: Experience in technical writing, journalism, or a professional writing setting.
Preferred: Professional background as a chemical engineer.
Location & work authorization: Position based in Palo Alto, CA, or fully remote; Palo Alto option requires 5 days per week in-office.

Team members expected to work 9:00am - 5:30pm PST for first two weeks of training and 9:00am - 5:30pm in their own timezone thereafter.
