About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop fire protection concepts and strategies for complex projects in accordance with AEAI/VKF requirements.
- Advise clients, architects and project teams to propose technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
- Independently lead fire safety projects, coordinate stakeholders and ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor the implementation of fire protection measures on construction sites.
- Prepare, review and sign documents related to AEAI compliance.
- Develop fire interlock matrices and coordinate integrated testing of fire safety systems.
- Collaborate with various building specialists within WSP's multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the development of our fire safety expertise and services in Switzerland.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Federal AEAI specialist diploma in fire protection or an equivalent qualification recognized by SEFRI.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in fire protection, fire safety or quality assurance in this field.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building regulations and building-related systems.
- Experience in project management and in liaising with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, collaborative personality with excellent communication skills.
- Native French speaker; good knowledge of German is an asset.
