About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage SCADA, supervision and control systems projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover to operations
  • Ensure overall project governance in terms of scope, cost, schedule, quality, risks and opportunities
  • Serve as the technical reference for SCADA, control systems and automation architectures
  • Define robust, scalable and secure system architectures adapted to the requirements of critical infrastructures
  • Coordinate interfaces between clients, operators, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors and authorities
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, automation specialists and network/system experts
  • Organize and oversee engineering activities: functional analyses, system specifications, architecture concepts, test strategies, migration planning and commissioning activities
  • Contribute to defining requirements related to cybersecurity, availability and system resilience of systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree in industrial IT, automation, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent (EPF/ETH, HES, ES or equivalent)
  • Approximately 15 years of professional experience in SCADA, supervision, automation or control systems
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving SCADA systems or critical infrastructures
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation environments, IT/OT integration and system architectures
  • Experience in rail, transport, energy or other critical infrastructure sectors is a major asset
  • Experience as a lead engineer, consulting engineer or technical manager is an advantage
  • Fluent French; German and/or English are an asset
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Autonomous, structured and comfortable taking technical responsibility
