About the role
- Design and implement secondary systems, including protection, control, and SCADA systems for HV substations
- Prepare technical drawings
- Perform relay setting calculations and coordinate protection schemes
- Integrate and test secondary systems with primary equipment
- Investigate and diagnose problems and recommend areas for improvement
- Ensure work meets all levels and European safety guidelines
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of Secondary Electrical Engineers and report to the Lead engineer
- Work on complex high voltage substation projects within the Netherlands and internationally
Requirements
- HBO/Bachelors degree or a similar qualification within Electrical Engineering
- 8+ Years experience within Secondary Electrical Engineering with a specific focus on High Voltage Substations
- A proactive and solution driven mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team and have a team focused approach to work
