About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Originate mortgage loans, ensuring accurate pricing, structuring, and timely, compliant disclosures
Achieve or exceed production goals by actively marketing WSECU mortgage products, developing an individual marketing plan, and participating in campaigns and advertising
Deliver a high-quality member experience by upholding WSECU’s Brand Promise and collaborating with internal partners to enhance the end-to-end mortgage process
Manage the full loan lifecycle, including maintaining an active pipeline, submitting complete loan packages, and communicating proactively to ensure timely closings
Maintain required licensing and professional expertise, including NMLS continuing education and staying current on products, pricing, systems, and industry trends
Participate in team and organizational routines, including sales meetings, trainings, and business activities, while supporting team operations as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, monitoring market trends, and supporting process enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three (3) years of demonstrated mortgage loan origination experience, including familiarity with FHA/VA requirements
College degree in business or closely related field is preferred (related experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement)
Experience with condos, jumbo loans, and manufactured homes
