About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Originating mortgage loans by promoting and delivering WSECU’s mortgage and home equity products to members and prospective members within assigned branches
Building strong relationships with branch staff and partners to support member needs and driving internal referrals
Pricing, structuring, and disclosing loans accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Meeting or exceeding individual production and service goals
Delivering an exceptional member experience by communicating proactively, managing expectations, and ensuring timely, high-quality loan closings
Managing a pipeline of loans, including submitting complete and accurate loan packages and maintaining consistent follow-through
Maintaining NMLS licensing and staying current on products, systems, and mortgage industry trends and competition
Participating in required meetings, trainings, and Community Homeownership initiatives
Supporting branch and team operations by participating in huddles, educating staff, covering queues as needed, and maintaining regular branch presence
Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and member experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three (3) years of demonstrated mortgage loan origination experience, including familiarity with FHA/VA requirements
College degree in business or closely related field is preferred (related experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement)
Experience with condos, jumbo loans, and manufactured homes
