About the role
- Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services - specifically focused on the municipal market
- Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
- Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress
- Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients
- Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices to your clients
- Manage internal and external client relationships
- Actively participate in the preparation of proposals
- Managing traffic projects and traffic elements of larger project and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
- Prepare and/or review traffic design plans for various projects
- Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling and analysis for studies
- Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
- Present technical reports at conferences and agency meetings
- Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians
- Review work for accuracy and coordinate with others functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
- Development and evaluation of design alternatives and design plans to maintain traffic during construction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages, preferably serving the municipal market.
- Preferred: PTOE certification.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week.
- Ability to work in the posted locations.
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
