About the role
- Manage projects for multiple types of right of way projects with an emphasis on 345kV or greater transmission lines
- Business development with existing and potentially new clients
- Services provided on our right-of-way projects would include:
- Project management
- Working directly with clients and design teams
- Coordination for title research, survey, legal and appraisal consultants
- Managing and working with agents on administrative issues and negotiation services
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in right-of-way project management, with a focus on 345kV plus transmission line projects
- Knowledge, experience and contacts in right of way work related to high voltage transmission lines
- IRWA Member
- IRWA SR/WA designation
- Skill in conflict resolution includes the ability to address differences of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate and document effectively, handle large volumes of work
- Extensive experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles in project execution
- High level of adaptability and resilience in fast-paced and evolving work environments
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and contributing to long-term organizational success
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Knowledge of acquisition and relocation procedures under the Uniform Relocation Act
- Experience with GIS, Microsoft Office Products and various databases
- Ability to travel 10%
