About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides support and coaching to the crew to achieve production goals
Identifies safety hazards and ensures compliance along with task allocation on the job site
Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and hand tools
Promotes good customer relations and maintains records related to production
Conducts routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews or has successfully completed applicable skills assessments
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to handle stressful situations
Knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and arboricultural techniques
Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s or commercial driver’s license and DOT medical card according to regulations
Maintain herbicide application certification or equivalent as required by Wright Tree Service and laws
