About the role

  • Overall responsibility for production, assembly and logistics
  • Leading, motivating and developing production personnel
  • Planning and controlling manufacturing processes, including capacity and resource management
  • Actively shaping and implementing change management initiatives
  • Introducing and further developing Lean methods (5S, KVP/continuous improvement, Kanban, SMED, etc.)
  • Establishing an efficient shop floor management
  • Ensuring quality, on-time delivery and cost control
  • Optimizing internal processes and reducing waste
  • Close cooperation with design/engineering, production planning, purchasing and service

Requirements

  • Completed technical training or degree (Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering)
  • Several years of leadership experience in production within a mechanical engineering company
  • Proven experience in change management
  • Solid knowledge of Lean Management and demonstrable project successes
  • Confident user of ERP systems
  • Structured, solution-oriented and team-oriented working style
  • Assertiveness, strong communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
