About the role
- Overall responsibility for production, assembly and logistics
- Leading, motivating and developing production personnel
- Planning and controlling manufacturing processes, including capacity and resource management
- Actively shaping and implementing change management initiatives
- Introducing and further developing Lean methods (5S, KVP/continuous improvement, Kanban, SMED, etc.)
- Establishing an efficient shop floor management
- Ensuring quality, on-time delivery and cost control
- Optimizing internal processes and reducing waste
- Close cooperation with design/engineering, production planning, purchasing and service
Requirements
- Completed technical training or degree (Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering)
- Several years of leadership experience in production within a mechanical engineering company
- Proven experience in change management
- Solid knowledge of Lean Management and demonstrable project successes
- Confident user of ERP systems
- Structured, solution-oriented and team-oriented working style
- Assertiveness, strong communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
