About the role

  • Develop and implement PLC programs using TIA Portal.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of control systems, including on-site commissioning at customer locations when required.
  • Analyze and resolve technical faults and malfunctions.
  • Optimize existing control programs to increase efficiency and performance while maintaining high quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve technical product information.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in PLC programming, ideally with TIA Portal.
  • Solid knowledge of control engineering and automation in custom machine construction.
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis, approximately 20% of working time.
