About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain financial forecasting models for strategic planning, spend decisions, and investment capacity
Lead contract negotiations with external vendors, legal counsel, and service providers
Oversee the end-to-end expense review and approval workflow
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews and deep-dive analysis of financial statements
Review and approve financial systems activity and wires, support treasury activities, and provide operational redundancies
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and management accounting, including monthly and quarterly dashboards
Lead financial BOM reporting and support TMC/LP quarterly reporting requirements
Provide strategic financial analysis to functional leaders on management company expenses, fund performance, and strategic scenarios
Support operational initiatives, including authorization matrix creation and quarterly OKR reporting
Act as primary liaison to the Woven by Toyota finance team
Support other operational and financial processes to drive operational excellence across the fund

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in Finance and/or Accounting leadership positions
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS and management accounting
Experience in financial modeling and data/analytics
Experience with venture capital, private equity, or partnership accounting preferred
Ability to navigate a globally matrixed organization and manage long-term internal and external relationships
Ability to manage risk and develop a governance framework within Finance
Oracle ERP and QBO knowledge preferred
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to contribute beyond the strictly accounting function
Systems analytical skills, including implementing software for management or financial reporting
