About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the integration function for Product Delivery (PD). Start by ensuring requirements (provided by AD/ADAS Product org) are driven into the software system design (e.g., end to end latency, timing, appropriate middleware constructs, etc.)
- Own the technical realization of the requirements: decomposition into implementation, cross-functional engineering internal alignment, and implementation governance
- Take decomposed customer-level requirements, or conceptual and historical design studies and experiments resulting in the generation of test methods. Support end to end analysis and compliance with new or emerging system level requirements. Feed results back to definition and functional creation teams for adjustments in lower level requirements, implementation, and / or test methods
- Ensure allocation to hardware resources strategy / budget is in place and appropriate governance mechanisms are effectively executed by the team
- Support definition and execute the end‑to‑end test strategy – coordinate testing levels, modalities (SIM, Closed Course, On-Road, SIL/HIL), ensuring our test approach aligns with above requirements and that both Performance and Maturity areas sufficiently captured. Ensure software quality is captured and aligned with TMC and other stakeholders, and delivered upon for final production-intended targets
- Represent PD in cross‑functional and external forums – act as the accountable voice of PD for system level deliverables. Be actively engaged in a number of meetings / forums in Japan and carry that message back to the US based team. Engage the US based team for implementation and plans to effectively support integration into target hardware
- Support Senior managers for hardware build & integration and ensure their needs are met through appropriate approvals and management of their concerns
