About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage projects in subsidized broadband expansion – from planning through final acceptance
Coordinate communication between all project stakeholders (including civil engineering contractors, planning offices, municipalities)
Monitor and control project objectives regarding schedule, budget, quality and compliance with funding requirements
Ensure and oversee the tendering process and the awarding of design and construction services
Provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders and management
Ensure compliance with all funding conditions
Support the strategic development of expansion measures and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in network, civil engineering or broadband expansion
Experience in project management / project leadership
Experience in executing and managing projects, including supplier/vendor management
Experience with planning and procurement/tendering procedures
Ideally, initial experience working with public funding/subsidies
Ability to collaborate across disciplines
Proficient user of Microsoft Office products
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
