About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct tasks assigned by the Shop Manager
  • Ensure timely accomplishment of all maintenance repairs and inspections
  • Monitor progress of aircraft inspections and repairs
  • Ensure personnel under Crew Chief jurisdiction are qualified
  • Head up and direct the group assigned with initiative
  • Lay out and assume control of quality and quantity of work
  • Provide on-the-job instruction to the group assigned
  • Properly execute and process all forms related to the group
  • Maintain the hangar and shops in a clean manner
  • Schedule maintenance activities accordingly.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics Certification
  • Minimum one (1) year or more of diversified aircraft and engine maintenance and repairs preferred.
  • Knowledge of aircraft, accessories, components, fasteners, and other hardware.
  • Knowledge and Experience with the following aircraft are preferred but not required: ATR, Embraer EMB-120, EMB-135/145, Fairchild SA226/227, Saab SF340A/B, S2000, Beechcraft King Air.
