About the role
- Manages existing customer business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals
- Develops and implements sound retention strategies
- Utilizes strong negotiation efforts to preserve business
- Handles all customer cancellation requests
- Provides ongoing education of contract details to existing customers
- Obtains customer contract commitments during face-to-face interactions
- Resolves escalations for customer service within the defined territory
Requirements
- 5-10 years of proven experience as key account manager and providing customer support.
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people.
- Ability to problem solve and negotiate.
- Computer experience with proficiency in the use of MS office suite of software applications i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
