About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Workiva’s global Financial Services vertical strategy across Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management
  • Develop and execute quarterly, annual, and multi-year business plans aligned with corporate strategy, vertical opportunity, revenue goals and customer success
  • Define and maintain a vertical-specific solution roadmap in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, with clear alignment to financial services customer needs
  • Ensure vertical-specific business KPIs are defined, measured, and used to continuously improve performance and inform decision-making
  • Serve as the market-facing executive for the Financial Services vertical, regularly engaging with global customers, partners, and advisory firms to understand emerging needs and shape value-driven solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders, particularly within the Office of the CFO and Business Transformation functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Financial Services with significant impact in recent management consulting, technology consulting, general manager or similar role/s in Enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Proven, deep expertise across Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management sectors
  • Strong working knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, EBA, ESMA, Basel III, Solvency II, CSRD) and FS-specific solution areas (regulatory reporting, risk management, RegTech, and sustainability compliance)
  • Proven track record of successfully building, leading, and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for a B2B enterprise technology company specifically within the Financial Services vertical
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with Advisory and Technology partners serving the FS ecosystem and the Office of the CFO
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field required
