About the role
- Lead end-to-end UX strategy across multiple products within the Workiva Platform
- Uncover explicit and latent user needs through research, stakeholder engagement, and systems-level analysis
- Translate insights into scalable, ecosystem-level experience direction aligned to business strategy and platform goals
- Design cohesive workflows, interaction patterns, and platform experiences that balance consistency with innovation
- Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate solutions grounded in qualitative and quantitative evidence
- Define clear success metrics in partnership with Product and Research
- Influence roadmap and prioritization decisions through strong design rationale and business alignment
- Mentor senior designers, elevate craft standards, and drive consistent, high-quality user experiences across teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional UX experience, shipping multiple successful products
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
- A portfolio demonstrating expert design aptitude is required
- Strong customer orientation, ability to dive deep, and strong problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, frameworks and methodologies
- Experience leveraging AI as a force multiplier within the UX process
- Experience designing for AI-experiences, translating machine intelligence into usable interactions
- Mastery-level skills, at Figma, user-centered design, visual design and systems thinking
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use collected data and analytics to inform design decisions.
