About the role

  • Lead end-to-end UX strategy across multiple products within the Workiva Platform
  • Uncover explicit and latent user needs through research, stakeholder engagement, and systems-level analysis
  • Translate insights into scalable, ecosystem-level experience direction aligned to business strategy and platform goals
  • Design cohesive workflows, interaction patterns, and platform experiences that balance consistency with innovation
  • Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate solutions grounded in qualitative and quantitative evidence
  • Define clear success metrics in partnership with Product and Research
  • Influence roadmap and prioritization decisions through strong design rationale and business alignment
  • Mentor senior designers, elevate craft standards, and drive consistent, high-quality user experiences across teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional UX experience, shipping multiple successful products
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
  • A portfolio demonstrating expert design aptitude is required
  • Strong customer orientation, ability to dive deep, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience leveraging AI as a force multiplier within the UX process
  • Experience designing for AI-experiences, translating machine intelligence into usable interactions
  • Mastery-level skills, at Figma, user-centered design, visual design and systems thinking
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use collected data and analytics to inform design decisions.
