About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Educate and upskill operational colleagues through training, coaching and knowledge transfer initiatives
  • Develop training programmes, workshops and other initiatives to coach and support learning and skill development of banking operational teams
  • Monitor effectiveness of training programmes and make improvement recommendations
  • Identify industry trends for best practices in learning and development
  • Execute training needs assessments and collaborate across the bank to identify gaps
  • Participate in projects to improve operational efficiency in relation to learning and development
  • Maintain Barclays branding in training materials
  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of immediate function while building external network
  • Deliver training and ensure accreditation governance is effectively maintained.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience delivering instructor-led training, workshops or learning programmes
  • Experience working within Financial Crime, Customer Screening, Adverse Media Screening, Payment Screening, Sanctions, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Investigations or another highly regulated environment
  • Experience partnering with operational stakeholders to identify learning needs, challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and translate business, risk or performance issues into effective learning solutions and interventions
  • Experience designing, developing and maintaining role-specific training solutions, including instructor-led, digital and blended learning content
  • Experience analysing learner, quality, operational or performance data to identify trends, determine learning requirements, evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience using learning technologies and management systems, such as Workday Learning, Learning Lab, SharePoint, Excel, automation tools or equivalent platforms, to support learning delivery, governance and reporting.
