About the role
- Implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy and extract actionable insights to improve operations and optimise resources.
- Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
- Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
- Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
- Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
- Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Support mission-critical and regulatory deliverables by maintaining and analysing data in Jira, Navigator, and related tools.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and project leads to enhance data hygiene, improve Jira usage, and provide actionable insights to support agile ways of working, project governance, process controls, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Jira/JQL Reporting, Taxonomy, and Data Analysis.
- Proven experience with PMO Governance and Controls, with the ability to analyse project management processes to identify governance gaps and areas of failure.
- Experience with Navigator and Tableau Reporting and Analysis.
- Experience in reviewing and enhancing processes to optimise efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- May be assessed on risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
- Ability to advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
- Leadership experience or ability to lead collaborative assignments and guide team members (Assistant Vice President expectations).
- Location: candidate can be based in Knutsford or Northampton.
