About the role

  • Develop and implement the bank's financial plans and stress testing methodologies
  • Assess the bank's resilience under various economic scenarios and analyse results to identify vulnerabilities
  • Manage the bank's financial risks and communicate risks to stakeholders
  • Analyse capital position and develop capital management strategies to optimise capital utilisation
  • Orchestrate process cycles for Planning and Stress Testing and project manage delivery
  • Document regulatory requirements and track/report cycle progress via governance forums and workflow tools
  • Manage data, dataflows and data quality from contributors through to report submission
  • Manage BAU systems to enable iterative generation of Capital or Funding plans and drive process reengineering
  • Own control environment, standards and conformance; partner with BIA to meet controls and governance objectives
  • Provide ongoing governance support including Regulatory liaison, Board engagement, Group Attestation and external auditors
  • Coordinate and consolidate data and analysis for Planning and Stress Testing for internal reporting and external disclosures

Requirements

  • An eye for detail to understand complexity of IB revenues/RWAs and question data
  • Understanding of the investment banking business and ability to drive discussions with stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of RWAs and KPIs
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth technical knowledge and experience in assigned area of expertise
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team or operate as an individual contributor
  • Ability to advise and influence decision making within own area of expertise
  • Familiarity with risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology
