About the role
- Management of the delivery, resource allocation and improvement of complex technical project capabilities across the bank using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Collaboration with customers and business teams to manage and implement customer trials and propose technically feasible solutions with effort and timeline expectations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, quality teams, product managers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle aligned to the bank's objectives, regulation and security policies.
- Identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with technical projects.
- Management of change requests and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Management of vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms.
- Stay abreast of latest industry technology trends; evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve deliverables and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements, plan resources and budgets, and where applicable define jobs, responsibilities and development for team members.
Requirements
- Proficient in analyzing complex data sets and interpreting results to provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in writing SQL and NoSQL queries; hands-on experience in data modeling and query optimization for relational and non-relational databases.
- Expertise in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
- Skilled in creating visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and their applications in data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of data analysts.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align data analysis with business objectives.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), data engineering and data governance practices; experience with advanced statistical techniques (regression, clustering, hypothesis testing).
