About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the financial aspects of trading activities
Reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks
Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks
Maintain and analyze the bank’s trading data
Preparation and submission of regulatory reports to authorities
Effective communication of complex financial information to stakeholders
Cross functional collaboration to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified accountant
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings
Experience with MS office toolkit
Strong control awareness – in particular, the ability to identify and escalate potential control breakdowns and to streamline processes in an effective and efficient manner
Article ship / Industrial trainee in mid to large sized firms
Audit exposure in large financial institutions / banks preferred.
