About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
- Development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure solutions to fulfil business requirements ensuring measurable reliability, performance, availability, and ease of use.
- Monitoring of IT infrastructure and system performance to measure, identify, address, and resolve any potential issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
- Development and implementation of automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention, utilising software scripting/coding disciplines.
- Implementation of a secure configuration and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, and other security threats.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define IT Infrastructure requirements, devise solutions, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate should have minimum 8+ years of working experience on Windows Servers
- Hands on experience on Windows Server OS 2016,2019 and 2022.
- Experience on Windows server cluster and troubleshooting on cluster issues.
- Experience on Windows server security updates and product lifecycle.
- Good understanding and knowledge on Windows Server PowerShell scripting.
- Should have understanding on local/domain polices and troubleshooting on issues related to windows network.
- Knowledge on Antivirus solutions like – MDE, Symantec AV.
- Observability and Monitoring.
- Experience on either of automation technologies – Ansible AAP, Chef
- Experience/ understanding on Git commands, Jenkins pipeline, GitLab.
- MCSE/MCSA, ITIL certification.
