About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes.
Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive Loan closing experience with Par/Distressed/Equity trade closing
The ability to work closely with trading and settlement functions investigating multi-layered fixed income and equity transactions.
Prior experience with loan distributions and reorganization events.
The aptitude to learn new software/applications
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, Clearpar, Loan IQ, Broadridge, BPS, Impact, Gloss (Equity and Fixed Income systems experience)
