About the role
- Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources
- Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation
- Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing
- Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data
- Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science
Requirements
- Relevant knowledge in areas such as data science, computer science, statistics, or other related technical fields
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models using Python or similar languages in cloud environments
- A solid understanding of data exploration techniques and working with streaming data pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, SageMaker, Lambda, and Bedrock to support data science workflows
- Exposure to generative and agentic AI frameworks, including techniques for fine-tuning and orchestration
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management
- Prior experience in financial services, risk modeling, or operational analytics.
