About the role
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects.
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and research causes of problems; propose and test corrective action with user department.
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests and collaborate with Korea HQ and offshore teams.
- Perform routine duties in accordance with procedures and keep records, prepare reports, update and maintain SAP system addresses from an ABAP perspective.
- Accountable for ERP project and enhancement assessment and execution including service delivery (break/fix) on CBU's SAP ERP instance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure enhancements are delivered cost-effectively and without negatively impacting quality.
- Help businesses implement technology solutions and work with management and end users to improve or re-engineer business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in the IT field.
- 3 or more years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions, preferably in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on ABAP programming experience is a must.
- Ability to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partners.
- Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment.
- Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills.
- Strong system troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script and Smart Form).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and various modules such as PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW.
- S/4 Hana knowledge is a +.
- SAP ABAP certification preferred.
