Country Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading and growing Wood Thilsted’s business in South Korea
- Developing and executing the country-level strategy aligned with the local market and global company strategy
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities across the offshore wind project lifecycle
- Building and maintaining senior relationships with international and local developers, utilities, EPCs and OEMs
- Ensuring high-quality delivery of engineering consultancy services relating to an offshore wind development
- Building, leading, and retaining a high-performing local team of engineers and project managers
- Acting as a role model for company values and leadership behaviours
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Leadership experience within the offshore wind energy industry in South Korea with strong local network
- Proven track record of business growth, client relationship development and commercial management
- Strong understanding of the offshore wind market, project lifecycle, and commercial drivers
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, in both Korean and English.
