About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
  • Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
  • Monitor network and telecommunications systems performance and respond to anomalies and issues according to defined procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) additional years of experience in Network Engineering disciplines may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Five (5) years’ experience as a Network Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Required Certification (possess and maintain one of the following): CompTIA Security+, MTA–IT Infrastructure, MCSA Desktop (Windows 7/8), or MCITP – Windows Client (Desktop Support/Admin) or equivalent approved by COR-T.
