About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the design of commercial and industrial electrical power and other lighting projects
- Collaborate and coordinate internally with Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering design disciplines
- Prepare technical reports and undertake technical investigation studies
- Assist with power coordination studies
- Participate in QA/QC processes, milestone design reviews, and inter-discipline cross-checking
- Review and provide input on Contractor RFIs, material submissions, and shop drawings
- Directly support project and construction management teams
- Participate in team meetings and design roundtables to improve internal processes
- Contribute to the overall business development of the company
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Associates in Engineering, Architecture, Electrical, CAD or related field; Bachelor preferred
- Experience in Electrical Design specific to the architectural, MEP and construction industries
- Interest in understanding and working on cross-discipline projects from design phase to construction
- Experience and general knowledge of building, utility, and energy codes
- Professional experience using AutoCAD and Revit 2018 or newer
- Time Management, Situational Adaptability and Outcome Orientation
- Strong Interpersonal Communication, Written and collaboration skills
- EIT or PE a plus
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- WNA is currently unable to support sponsorships
