About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead-level backend ownership
Make architecture decisions independently
Design systems with long-term scalability in mind
Turn ambiguous product needs into production-ready backend solutions
Build and maintain GraphQL APIs across a microservices environment
Own database design, optimization, and reliability in Postgres
Define technical direction, not just implementation details
Set and enforce quality standards across both AI-generated and manually written code
Contribute to system design, infrastructure decisions, testing strategy, and developer productivity

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of work experience with Development
At least 3 years of experience in Node.js
At least 3 years of work experience with Typescript
At least 3 years of work experience with databases
At least 3 years of work experience with NestJS
At least 3 years of experience in GraphQL
At least 3 years of experience in Postgres
Strong with AI tools in software engineering workflows
Able to use AI to speed up implementation, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving
Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent experience
