About the role
- Process optimization: Planning and developing efficient manufacturing and assembly processes in the automotive industry
- Feasibility analyses & Process-FMEA to ensure quality, deadlines and costs
- Commissioning & production ramp-up of equipment, including preliminary acceptance at the machine supplier and final acceptance at the plant
- Interface between the project team, production, engineering and equipment manufacturers
- Lean Production & continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Production Engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in process development or production planning (ideally in the automotive sector)
- Practical experience in planning and implementing automated production lines, ideally with very short cycle times
- Experience with Lean Production, FMEA and process optimization methods
- Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel (approx. 25%)
