About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development of Asset Management Plans for water and wastewater utilities.
  • Evaluate infrastructure condition and performance using GIS and available asset data, perform risk assessments, and support development of capital improvement planning.
  • Analyze asset condition and performance data to help clients prioritize maintenance, rehabilitation, and replacement strategies.
  • Serve as technical resource for municipal clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Clients and Stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical reports and other project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while building strong client relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, utility infrastructure, asset management or related consulting services
  • Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Handle multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize responsibilities
  • Demonstrate leadership in engineering planning, asset management strategies/methodologies, and technical problem solving
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and lead technical staff
  • Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Online), infrastructure data analysis, and municipal utility projects is preferred
  • Familiarity with asset management frameworks (e.g., ISO 55000) is a plus
  • IAM Certification preferred but not required
