Stormwater Project Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, and support projects focused on stormwater management, watershed planning, drainage design, flood mitigation, and environmental compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance water quality, improve infrastructure resilience, and support sustainable development.
- Designing stormwater systems, conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, preparing technical reports, and ensuring projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or field of expertise or equivalent experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in appropriate field of expertise
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Execute multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize responsibilities
- Exhibit leadership in planning and/or design concepts and methods and challenge convention
- Ability to successfully manage all internal aspects of projects/project tasks
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to mentor and lead technical staff
- Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking
- AutoCAD/Civil3D, RAS, SWMM, or similar tools experience
