About the role
- Join WithersRavenel as a Landscape Designer I and play a key role in helping to shape the communities where we live and work.
- Work closely with Landscape Architects, Project Managers, and Professional Engineers to translate concepts into high-quality, documentable design solutions.
- Gain hands-on experience supporting landscape architecture projects from concept through construction.
- Build technical and creative skills through design production, graphics, and renderings.
- Learn from experienced professionals who are invested in your growth and development.
- Play an active role in producing studio deliverables and shaping project outcomes.
- Hybrid schedule - about three days a week in the office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, or equivalent experience
- Successful completion of at least one section of the LARE exam
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Understand planning and/or design concepts and methods
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in hand-graphics and rendering
- Willingness to take direction and learn software applications
- Demonstrate personal investment in your career
- Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking
- Preferred: Internships in field of expertise
- AutoCAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D, Geopak, and/or graphic software experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience in SketchUp or other modeling software
