About the role

  • Responsible for client relationship development, business growth, and technical project delivery.
  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies for the WithersRavenel Environmental Practice Area.
  • Oversee environmental initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in designing solutions for remediation systems, pollution control, waste management, and sustainability efforts.
  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments, prepare and evaluate technical reports, execute data analysis, and provide guidance on environmental projects and engineered designs.
  • Collaborate with clients and governmental authorities to guarantee alignment with established environmental standards and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina
  • 15+ years’ experience working in the environmental field
  • Established a client base or ability to identify and secure new clientele.
  • Demonstrated experience in the completion of site assessments, remediation, environmental audits, data interpretation, and report writing.
  • DEQ contract experience or significant private client experience a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to pass an MVR check
  • Preferred: NC Licensed Well Driller Certification
  • NC Registered Site Manager
