About the role

  • Continuous improvement of the material compliance process
  • Internal and external correspondence, including with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on material compliance topics
  • Matching WISKA products to customer inquiries and identifying substances used in these products for customer compliance statements
  • Preparation of material compliance documentation (IHM, Full Material Declarations, REACH, RoHS, POP, California Prop 65, TSCA, etc.)
  • Research on material compliance regulations and maintaining internal expertise
  • Maintenance and updating of the SCIP database
  • Coordination of implementation activities resulting from material compliance requirements and legislation
  • Internal point of contact for material compliance topics
  • Support of the QHSE team on topics such as environmental management and occupational safety

Requirements

  • Technical or commercial/vocational training with appropriate additional qualifications
  • Good organizational skills and strong communication and analytical abilities
  • Specialized training in regulations such as REACH, RoHS and Conflict Minerals, or further training as a Material Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) or similar is an advantage
  • Experience and knowledge in working with management systems
  • Professional experience in quality management (e.g., Quality Management Specialist or Quality Management Representative - QMB), risk management or relevant compliance experience is desirable
  • Confident user of MS Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
