About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning, installation and administration of the client/server infrastructure (Windows Servers, Active Directory and File Services)
- Ensuring stable and secure IT operations through regular maintenance, updates, patches and documentation of the system environment
- Monitoring systems and services for proactive fault detection and performance optimization
- Troubleshooting and fault analysis in the server/infrastructure area
- Participation in IT projects related to server and infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed vocational training or degree, or equivalent professional experience in the IT field
- Solid knowledge of administration and management of Windows Server systems
- Good knowledge of DHCP, DNS and Active Directory
- Experience with server virtualization based on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Experience in managing MS SQL Servers and databases
- Advantageous: experience with networking technologies (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Knowledge of Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking
- Linux knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft licensing management
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, responsible attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- High level of service orientation and problem-solving ability
- Due to the company language, good German skills (spoken and written) are required
