Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for a CDC multi-year public health evaluation initiative
Organize, direct, and manage all contract activities to ensure successful execution, compliance, and delivery of high-quality evaluation products
Engage regularly with senior government officials
Oversee resources and schedules, ensuring accountability for meeting contractual requirements and performance standards
Manage program budgeting, execution, and customer relationship management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree preferred: Ph.D. in Public Health, Health Sciences, Evaluation, or a related field is highly desirable
5 years of relevant experience supporting CDC, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), or other federal public health agencies with program evaluation initiatives
Experience supporting Diabetes prevention programs preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Experience leading an evaluation project or national evaluation
Experience conducting a national assessment of a program or project’s inputs, activities, and outputs to determine its value or worth and to improve the program
Experience developing a large-scale program logic model
Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint) efficiently and effectively
Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines
