About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with the Print & Design Team to assist in all aspects of the design process and seamless running of the design department
  • Work predominantly with the Print team across Womenswear, Menswear & Accessories
  • Research key trends, colours and print inspiration to assist in creating innovative and individual designs
  • Create and generate seasonal prints and graphics
  • Assist with print artwork production, including tiling, colour separating and factory tech packs
  • Maintain up-to-date colour palettes and boards for each collection
  • Format and file print pages with information relating to scale, colour and print name
  • Update print trackers to manage artwork volume and visibility of hit rate
  • Liaise with factories and supplier contacts regarding sampling status and print queries
  • Maintain records of collection photographs, print story boards, bought samples and bought prints
  • Maintain the print archive and correctly file design boards and samples
  • Assist with garment CADs, range plans and wholesale handovers
  • Keep range sheets up to date after range review sign-off meetings
  • Handle general administration, including stationery/paper orders and supplier post tracking

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed a Textile, Print or Fashion related degree
  • Passion for surface pattern and print
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good eye for colour and understanding of the brand handwriting and product vision
  • Excellent hand sketching/painting skills
  • Understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes is a bonus
  • Some experience is preferable but not required
