About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with the Print & Design Team to assist in all aspects of the design process and seamless running of the design department
Work predominantly with the Print team across Womenswear, Menswear & Accessories
Research key trends, colours and print inspiration to assist in creating innovative and individual designs
Create and generate seasonal prints and graphics
Assist with print artwork production, including tiling, colour separating and factory tech packs
Maintain up-to-date colour palettes and boards for each collection
Format and file print pages with information relating to scale, colour and print name
Update print trackers to manage artwork volume and visibility of hit rate
Liaise with factories and supplier contacts regarding sampling status and print queries
Maintain records of collection photographs, print story boards, bought samples and bought prints
Maintain the print archive and correctly file design boards and samples
Assist with garment CADs, range plans and wholesale handovers
Keep range sheets up to date after range review sign-off meetings
Handle general administration, including stationery/paper orders and supplier post tracking

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed a Textile, Print or Fashion related degree
Passion for surface pattern and print
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Positive can-do attitude
Ability to adapt and learn quickly and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good eye for colour and understanding of the brand handwriting and product vision
Excellent hand sketching/painting skills
Understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes is a bonus
Some experience is preferable but not required
