About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design technical solutions for complex enterprise sales deals, including product selection, ATS integrations, data write-backs, and branch rollout architecture
Lead technical deep-dive calls with prospects and their IT administrators
Build prospect-specific sandboxes and working AI agents for proof of concept
Own RFPs and security reviews end to end
Travel with the sales team to industry shows and enterprise customer sites as the technical face of Whippy
Design deployment architecture for enterprise accounts
Hand fully documented implementations to Customer Success
Handle technical escalations beyond standard support
Build and maintain a reusable pattern library of deployment playbooks
Provide feedback to engineering on lost deals, prospect requests, and competitor gaps
Run the standard demo independently within the first 30 days
Own technical calls on live deals and ship initial deployment playbooks
Own the technical motion on enterprise deals and expand the pattern library

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as an SE, Solutions Consultant, or senior Implementation Engineer in staffing technology, ATS ecosystems, or CCaaS and business telephony
Ability to read API documentation fluently
Ability to test endpoints without an engineer
Ability to debug integrations live on customer calls
Experience building or configuring AI agents or IVR flows
Ability to run technical demos independently under challenging questioning
Strong technical documentation skills
Ability to explain architecture in plain English to business owners
Ability to engage effectively with customer IT teams
Willingness and ability to travel to industry shows and customer sites
Customer-facing experience every week
Ability to work with ATS integrations, telephony architecture, AI agents, and workflow automation
Ability to work with prospect-specific sandboxes and proof-of-concept environments
