About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own day-to-day ad revenue performance across rewarded video, interstitial, and banner formats - monitoring eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, and impression depth.
- Design and refine ad placement strategy across the player journey, including segmentation rules, frequency caps, and contextual triggers.
- Conceptualize and implement comprehensive A/B tests on placements, formats, frequency, and reward structures, translating results into rollout decisions.
- Manage relationships with mediation platform (AppLovin MAX), ad networks, and SDK partners - including negotiation, troubleshooting, and auction stack optimization.
- Monitor competitor titles and surface placement, format, and timing trends.
- Foster synergistic collaborations with cross-functional teams, including Product, UA, Economy and BA, to align ad strategy with the broader monetization roadmap.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 1 year of experience in ad monetization (preferably in gaming)- A must!
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative mindset; experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Hands-on experience with mediation platforms (MAX, LevelPlay, AdMob) and ad networks (Meta, Unity, AppLovin, Mintegral)
- Proven ability to design and implement ad monetization strategies, with a strong focus on the ad-vs-IAP trade-off and protecting LTV
- Full ownership experience over ad revenue KPIs, including rewarder videos, interstitials and banners.
