IT Specialist – IT Support Specialist, User Help Desk
WG SYSTEMS e.K.IT Support Specialist at WG SYSTEMS responsible for user help desk inquiries and collaboration on IT projects for process optimization. Involvement in ticket management and service requests.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently handle IT support requests by phone with corresponding documentation in the ticketing system
- Classify and prioritize IT requests
- Proactively follow up on incidents to improve first-contact resolution efficiency
- Coordinate incident resolution in collaboration with 2nd- and 3rd-level support
- Participate in IT projects to optimize existing processes and systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience with ticketing systems and handling IT support requests, preferably in IT on-site support
- Strong knowledge of administering and using Windows operating systems, MS 365, networked PC environments, Apple products, and remote access solutions
- Service-oriented attitude and a high degree of organizational skills
- Strong team and communication skills
- High willingness for continuous professional development and to learn new subject areas
- Very good German (C1) and good English (B2), both written and spoken
