About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the ten-week Wells Fargo Technology Internship Program orientation and training
  • Complete hands-on software engineering work assignments, real-world training, and group projects
  • Design, develop, test, prepare, and integrate applications
  • Develop enhancements and resolve bugs in existing applications
  • Develop new applications and support application integration and data integrity
  • Create and support reusable frameworks, data warehouses, and analytics environments
  • Contribute to data integration by developing data models, maintaining warehouses and analytics environments, and writing integration and analysis scripts
  • Build and maintain data pipelines
  • Contribute to the technical evolution of services with enterprise architecture, product management, and partner teams
  • Work in Agile Scrum or Kanban settings
  • Refine communication skills and participate in learning, coaching, and networking opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Successful completion of the 2026 Technology Internship Program (desired)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another Technology STEM-related major (desired)
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 (desired)
  • Knowledge or experience with Java, cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL, or related technical skills (desired)
  • Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and API development (desired)
  • Experience with software development shipping cycles, including Development, Deploy, Release, CI, and CD (desired)
  • Experience leveraging AI, including generative or agentic AI, prompt engineering, and data labeling (desired)
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, including articulating challenges and recommending solutions (desired)
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a collaborative, change-driven environment (desired)
  • Initiative, curiosity, urgency, and interest in learning and growth (desired)
  • Extracurricular enrichment involvement through volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad, leadership, or nonprofit activities (desired)
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Must not require Wells Fargo visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must work onsite at one of the required program locations in a hybrid schedule
