About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide vision and set direction for technology development and infrastructure or service components for a defined business unit
- Manage and allocate people and financial resources to complete projects within committed time and budget and align with strategic objectives
- Develop and monitor long-range information technology plans and policies
- Identify capacity planning, efficiency, availability, business enablement, and time to market opportunities
- Provide comprehensive consultation to more experienced management regarding business requirements
- Recommend innovations anticipating future business and information technology directions
- Provide technology solutions for a large business unit, including application portfolio standardization and rationalization
- Collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels, including more experienced managers
- Lead the team to achieve objectives
- Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Support execution of applicable risk, compliance, governance, monitoring, escalation, and remediation requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 6+ years of Management experience
- Ability to manage people and financial resources
- Experience developing technology plans and policies aligned with business strategy
- Ability to provide technology solutions, including application portfolio standardization and rationalization
- Ability to collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels
- Ability to lead teams and achieve objectives
- Ability to interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, or industry forums
- Ability to fulfill risk and compliance obligations and follow Wells Fargo policies and procedures
