About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete one week of structured training
- Support business and financial planning processes, including headcount tracking, expense management, and performance reporting
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, regulatory readiness, and risk and control programs
- Coordinate governance routines, leadership reporting, and internal communications
- Perform data analysis, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements
- Support cross-functional projects with business, technology, and operational stakeholders
- Conduct market research, peer benchmarking, and internal analysis to inform strategic planning
- Prepare executive presentations, meeting materials, and briefing documents
- Participate in coaching, mentorship, and feedback activities throughout the program
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation in December 2026 or May/June 2027 (desired qualification)
- Successful completion of the 2026 CIB COO Analyst Program
- Strong academic achievement
- Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
- Relevant internship experience
- Ability to work effectively independently and in teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- BA/BS degree with interest in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Technology, Communication, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Political Science, Pre-law, Government, Policy and Management, Management and Risk Management, or a related business field
